CHANGES DUAL RECOVERY PROGRAM: TELECARE

The CHANGES Dual Recovery program serves individuals who are both dually diagnosed (with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses) and frequent users of emergency psychiatric care. The program serves 200 individuals, and acts as the Single Point of Responsibility (SPR) for these Alameda County clients. CHANGES is the first implementation of the innovative Dual Recovery treatment model developed by Telecare. The program integrates approaches demonstrated in the literature to be effective helping clients with dual diagnoses.
